He knows Buffy's it's fine almost never actually means its fine, but he also knows she says it as much to convince herself as him. He also knows better than to argue with her. He hums in agreement about getting the better deal, even as their kisses grow more passionate.

Angel's hands slide up from her hips to the small of her back, one going up higher to her shoulder-blades, both under her shirt. He's just thinking about finding a convenient headstone high enough he can press her against, when Buffy pulls back.

He can't help his groan when she suggests how she originally meant to 'surprise' him, if he'd been at home. Not least because her voice still instinctively drops low when even alluding to sex, in a way that's innocently coy and provocative. For a split second, he wishes she were a little more adventurous, before deciding, "I think I'm glad you're not an exhibitionist." He keeps the one hand at the small of her back, while pulling the other one out, so he can reach up to cup the side of her face. "I wanna keep you all to myself."

Still... "You probably have to get back home soon. Want me to walk you? Maybe..." He does not want to contribute to her delinquency... but... maybe Willow would be willing to have Buffy 'stay over' a couple times this next week.

He's gonna have to start buying Willow bribery/thank-you gifts, if she's going to be covering for Buffy with any regularity.
